Wentworth Level 5 link upgrade

During this time we will replace some hardware on the link between the StJames Hall building and the Wentworth Level 5 floor. All traffic will be routed via the backup link to Wentworth Level 9.

Replacement of one of the core routers in the StJames Hall building. It will cause an interrupt on all the links towards remote buildings and on the SJH building.

179 Elizabeth Chambers power down

Affected sites: Sir Owen Dixon Chambers, Elizabeth Street Chambers.

A full power shut down will occur for the installation of electrical meters and for the routine maintenance of the buildings main circuit breakers.

The internet connectivity will be restored on saturday morning.

Telephone Server Hardware Upgrade

During two five minute periods, the Cisco Call Manager system will be unavailable due to a hardware upgrade. All active calls will be lost, but new calls will be routed via the backup server.

Telephone System Reconfiguration

The telephone system will be reconfigured to use four digits extensions for the phone system. During the change the internal three digit extensions might or might not work. After the change, all numbers starting with 5xx and 6xx will be accessible as 85xx and 86xx.

Emergency hardware replacement for the server on Wentworth Chambers level 5. For about an hour the data and VoIP network will be not available.

We need to replace a piece of hardware on the server in Wentworth Chambers level 9. The outage will be less than a minute during this window. Active calls through the VoIP network will be interrupted and drop out, but for the other services there will be no noticable interruption.
